Investigation and Testing of Transport Structures

This discipline offers a sufficient minimum knowledge and skills for the future structural engineers in transport construction how to carry out stress and strain analysis of bridges and other structures and how to assess the quality of their components and joints through non-destructive tests. Students learn how to draw correct conclusions on the basis of observations and processing of results from in-situ and model tests, with respect to structure’s operational suitability or the necessity of their rehabilitation or strengthening.
