History of Architecture - practical training

The aim of the summer field training in History of Architecture is students to be acquainted with the various styles and their architectural elements. This is achieved through their measurement and depiction as well as through taking photos and drawing. Initially, students measure and sketch out manually the architectural object and its elements, applying their knowledge on History of Architecture, Fundamentals of Architectural Design, and Representational Techniques in Architectural Design. The second stage of the field training represents drawing of the architectural object on the basis of its preliminary measuring (photographing), thereby submitting information on its spatial-composition characteristics, its proportions, materials, colours and textures.
