The purpose of the course is applying a methodological approach when designing a living space. The lecturing course starts with a brief historical overview of the theory of light and colour, reveals the physiological, psychological and emotional (spiritual) influences on human beings, and studies the main principles of colour solutions in interior and exterior. Through practical exercises the students acquire skills in space analysis, taking into account its purpose and the impression it is meant to give. There are practical advises in relation with the normative basis and the colour influence of the different building materials.
