In the parts architectural and building aerodynamics, thermotechnics, acoustics and light-techniques the physical phenomena and processes in the course of interaction between buildings and building facilities and the environment, their model investigation, the main physical quantities and objective laws, characterizing them, and the normative requirements are discussed. The approach of relating theory to the specific architectural and engineering applications is used. Emphasis falls on the modern trends for energy-efficient and ecological construction, and for use of untraditional sources of energy.
