Sewerage Networks and Facilities

Technological, structural, hydrological and hydraulic aspects of the sewerage systems are dealt with. The sewerage networks are treat in the context of the integrated approach in collecting, transporting, treating and discharging of wastewater to the receiver with relevance to protection of the latter from pollution. Special attention is paid to the runoff modeling by implementing of physically based and conceptual approaches, as well as to the actual commercial software in the field. After the successful completiont of he course, students are able to perform design projects, construction, exploitation, management and control of sewer systems and associated facilities.
