Steel and Timber Structures

The subject “Steel and Timber Structures”is aimed to acquaint students with the ways of calculation, dimensioning and structural arrangement of bearing members of steel and timber as well as with the design and structural composition of steel and timber structures in civil engineering, and particularly, in hydraulic engineering. Upon finishing the course, students are able to draw up structural schemes, to dimension steel, timber and steel-timber structures for buildings and hydraulic facilities.
