“Building materials” is a fundamental engineering and architecture discipline, which lays the foundation for the specializing disciplines. It provides the necessary knowledge for solving the issues about the rational choice of materials in accordance with the aesthetic, structural and operational requirements to structures and facilities. The aim of the methodical training is to develop in future specialists aspiration after independent summarizing of information and to form a creative attitude to the selection of materials for buildings and facilities.
