Introduction to Arhitecture - Project II

The curriculum represents the second practical module for an introduction to architecture, through the implementation of specific design tasks.

The exercises are dedicated to studying principle schemes for the functional organization of the architectural space and approaches to structuring the architectural form. The training covers two stages - spatial analysis of selected examples and development of two semester tasks in an urban environment, under specific limiting conditions. The curriculum aims to create conditions for awareness of the role of spatial organization, architectural elements and building materials as means of artistic expression. At the same time, the preparation envisages intensive practice of a wide range of rendering and mock-up techniques applied in the process of designing and presenting the semester assignments.
