Fundamentals of structural project for one-story, one-bay building with a steel bearing structure are developed. Knowledge from the respective course is applied. The accent is put on dimensioning of basic bearing steel members, and detailing of joints of the steel structure. A joint of a timber truss is developed as a separate task. The aim of the project is students to assimilate the knowledge acquired in classes, and to gain practical experience.
