The subject “Reinforced Concrete Bridges” (RCB) for the degree program “Structural Engineering” is a continuation from the subject “Reinforced Concrete (RC)” studied in the 6th and 7th semester.
The course is aimed to provide knowledge on the main methods for analysis and detailing of standard or prestresssed RCB.
The limited number of hours allows learning of road girder bridges mainly, which are over 80% of the bridges in the country.
The subject requires very good knowledge on subjects “Resistance of Materials”, “Structural Mechanics”, “Reinforced Concrete” and “Construction Technology”.
