The course is aimed to provide knowledge on Web design. The syllabus includes introductory topics on the Web design's basic principles, functional aspects of design, and the design as a tool. The practical aspect of the course is manifested by issues for generation of user's interface; writing Web documents; Web images - colour, resolution, compression, formats, styles and techniques for creation of Web sites; access to Web sites; information architecture, maintenance of sites, and multimedia design.
