University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG)

Students are acquainted with the structure, development and the economic significance of the railway transport. They learn the following topics: traction calculations; horizontal and vertical levelling of the route; design and layout of railways; economic and technical investigations and comparison of optional routes; basic technologies and schemes applied in railway construction. After finishing the course students have the expertise to solve tasks, independently or in a team, in the design, construction or reconstruction of railways.
