Over the next four years, the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance will work towards establishing a shared European campus, offering integrated educational and research programs to enable seamless mobility for students and staff.
In December 2024, H. M. Rector, prof. dr hab. inż. Celina M. Olszak appointed the BAUHAUS4EU Governance Board, whose members will represent UE Katowice in the governance structures of the European University.
The inauguration was attended by rectors, vice-rectors, chancellors, and project team members from partner universities in Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Albania, Italy, and Sweden.
"BAUHAUS4EU – a dream that is beginning to come true. I would like to thank our partners, but my special thanks go to the Rectors - thank you for your presence," - said the Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch during the ceremony.
At the event, the Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch, together with H.M. the Rector, prof. dr hab. inż. Celina M. Olszak, presented Certificates of Partnership to representatives of the partner universities.
"Together, we celebrate this milestone, looking forward to shared successes as we work toward building a sustainable and united European educational community to which we are all committed."

The first meeting with representatives of the Rectors’ Council, the Steering Committee, and the working group of the WP Package, led by UE Katowice took place on January 14, 2025.
International guests enjoyed a tour around Katowice city with a visit to the Silesian Museum, the International Congress Centre, Spodek Arena and the Market Square.
