The project concerns a double-span overpass over a two-lane highway. The plan of the bridge is in straight line, without slanting. By static scheme, the bridge is of “beam type” – free beam system with deformation joints at all piers. The abutments are without retaining walls. The wings are of cantilever type. The type of piers is chosen by the student. The project includes analysis of only one of the components of the superstructure – cast-in-situ road slab and prefabricated beam. The main beams are prestressed after concreting of the “Freisine” system
