The course design project refers to one of the specific types of steel structures covered by the lecture course. The students develop structural drawings with steel framing plans and detailing of typical joints and members of the respective structural system. The analytical part of the course project includes static and dynamic analyses based on simplified and refined (3D) models of the structure and verification calculations for the major structural members, joints and connections. The students acquire additional knowledge and practical skills for designing steel structures of higher complexity using advanced methods and software.
