Students design a new sea harbour. The project includes analytical calculation of wave parameters in shallow water and deep water zone, design of layout, barrier structures with sloped profile, dimensioning of main components of the adjacent harbour territory (buffer stores, roads and railroads), dimensioning of gravity quay wall. Drawings include graphic image of the wave refraction, general layout of the harbour, drawings and design components of the harbour, gravity quay wall and cross sections in specific locations.
