Comprehensive Town Development Plan - Project
The project aims at examination of all stages of the Comprehensive plan making and thus to link the theoretical knowledge with the professional practice. Through a series of consultations with different professionals it creates skills for team working and attitudes towards the competences of the other professional participants in the process of planning.

Integrated Coastal Cones Development
The module introduces the key concepts in theory and practice of the Integrated Coastal Zones management. It develops skills for coordination of different policies and creates attitudes towards the natural and cultural values. The lecture course emphasises on topical and non-standard urban planning concepts, on the evolution of the settlement network, on the housing and energy policy, on the alternative of the post-industrial society, on the subterranean urban planning, on the urban design and the architectural language of the town, on the ecology and the sustainable development.
Urban Regeneration - Project
Students gain professional knowledge and skills for their future career. Knowledge is obtained on the interrelations between the restructuring of the economic, social and spatial elements of a town and their reflection on urban regeneration. Skills are acquired for application of techniques and pursuing policies for regeneration of urban environment, and a feeling towards the social and cultural aspects in urban regeneration processes is developed.
Urban Rehabilitation
This discipline acquaints students with the global changes in the contemporary world and their impact on urban regeneration. Knowledge is obtained on the processes shaping the social and built urban environment, the theoretical basis of urbanization. Skills are acquired for analysis of urban regeneration projects. A sense is developed of the pros and cons of different projects and approaches, and their relation to global changes.
Urban Sociology
The module aims at introducing the main principles of Sociology and their interpretation in terms of planning. Learning outcomes: Knowledge of the social structure of society and its spatial dimensions in the context of the major spheres of human activity. Skills in application of theoretical knowledge in the solution of planning problems. Attitude to the various socio-cultural processes and their interpretation in terms of planning.
