Design of Geoinformation Systems

Design of Geoinformation Systems

This discipline acquaints students with the fundamentals of the modern methods and means for unified design of geoinformation systems using CASE technology. Upon finishing the course students have knowledge on the methodology of the structural and object-oriented analysis and design, using specifications in the form of diagrams and texts for description of the external requirements, connections between the modules and dynamics of geoinformation systems’ behaviour, programs’ architecture and the associated documentation.
