In the coursework in Building Physics students get acquainted with the main regulations on: a/ heat preservation and energy saving in buildings; and b/ noise protection in settlements. Theoretical knowledge is applied in practice for calculation of the necessary thermal insulation of several types of multi-layer cladding structures. The suggested thermal insulation of the respected structure is assessed in order to meet the requirements of noise protection as well. The coursework develop skills for working out real projects in conformity with the current regulations.
