This discipline allows students learning about reconstruction and modernization of buildings and structures to get acquainted with the harmonized Eurocodes related to the main products used thereof – mineral binding substances, concretes, waterproofing-, thermal insulation-, and noise insulation products. The subject provides general information for the Eurocodes for structural design of buildings and structures, based on reinforced concrete- and steel bearing structures as well as on the regulations and specific requirements in the design of strengthening and reconstruction.
