Gravimetrical Applications in Geology and Geophysics

Gravimetrical Applications in Geology and Geophysics
Major Geodesy regulated profession
Faculty Faculty of Geodesy
Department Geodesy
Lead Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Slaveyko Gospodinov

This subject is intended for students in the Geodesy profile. Theoretical and practical aspects in the solution of the reverse problem in Geophysics are considered as well as the possibilities for determination of the location, shape and type of deeply located anomalous masses and tectonic disturbances through gravimetric measurements. The theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired may be used in the application of modern technologies for localization of ores and minerals as well as active faults.
