The course offers knowledge of: main properties of gas fuel; production and processing of natural gas; gas supply mains; gas demand and estimation of design loads; distribution gas supply network and equipment; methods and devices for measuring of gas consumption; and pressure regulation and overpressure protection.
After completing the course the students will be able to design gas distribution networks with pressure from 0, 01 MPa to 1, 6 MPa.
