University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG)

This course is intended for students in the Geodesy profile. It is meant to acquaint students with theoretical and practical aspects in solving one of the most important problems in Geodesy - determination of a reference surface for vertical measurements. The possibilities of using a combination of conventional geodetic methods and results of aerospace observations and positioning are considered, as well as the peculiarities in the solution of this problem in the country. The theoretical knowledge obtained is the basis for development and application of different technological schemes in working out the geoid's surface for the territory of the country.
