Students will be acquainted with the subject of valuation; with the specific features of land; the land market and its peculiarities; the ground rent and the lease payments; the application of the respective regulations. Studying the approaches and methods of valuation of agricultural land and the associated structures, buildings and other betterments, students will acquire skills to carry out different valuations: market, tax, of perennials, of lands with specific characteristics - with a limited-use regime, with limited property rights, polluted, degraded, disturbed, etc.
