History of Architecture - ХV - ХVІІІ Centuries

The course is aimed to students in Architecture. It traces the evolution on a global scale of major architectural styles and trends in the period XV-XVIIIc.

The nature of each architectural phenomena is studied as well as the historical context in which it occurs. The architectural form is considered as a product of specific conditions - both of individual creative nature and influenced by specific cultural, social, economic, technological or climatic factors. Students are encouraged to analyze the significance of history and context and their connection to architectural form for important architectural monument that shaped our culture.
