The objectives of education in Surveying science are to provide the students of the Hydro-Technical Faculty fundamental knowledge and skills in Topographic Maps and Digital Topographic Models which they will apply in studies, investigation, design, building and maintenance of hydro-engineering projects and various types of equipment. During the course the students will be acquainted with knowledge about fundamental geodetic instruments and methods of surveying measurements, which are necessary for the development of Digital Topographic Models and Topographic Maps and are employed in the field of hydro-technical construction practice as well.
