Cultural Heritage
This subject acquaints students with the historical and cultural values of the architectural and archaeological heritage in the urban environment. Skills are acquired with respect to methods and techniques for conservation, adaptation and changing of functions of architectural monuments. Knowledge is obtained on the types of the historical and cultural monuments, and a sense of cultural and historical memory of urban spaces is developed.

The project aims at developing research skills and skills for management of the relationships in the integrated historic environment.

Cultural Heritage Conservation project

Acquiring basic professional knowledge of the work of the landscape architect in relation to the preservation of landscape cultural values, developing practical skills for creativity inspired by the context and with respect to the heritage of landscape architecture in connection with the lecture course (074.00), inculcating a way of thinking and a creative approach to the values ​​of the environment and the spirit of the place.

The period between the beginning of the 19th century and the 1960's is thematically covered. The process of emerging and strengthening the position of Architectural Rationalism and the formation of European and American Modernism are discussed.
