The aim of the course is to give practical knowledge on map production. Issues related to: selection and preparation of a general geographic control; design of mathematical control; contents and system of symbols; development of principles of generalization and map composition; selection of technology for composition and production of maps are considered in their application aspect. Design is envisaged to be realized in AutoCAD environment, while the preprint process – with the help of the graphic software CorelDraw.
