The invasion of the GPS technology in the geodetic theory and practice calls for a study of its kinematic applications for determination of ground objects position. Processing and analysis of GPS measurements as well as the last developments in the field make it indispensable students to be acquainted with the kinematic measuring methods. The transition to a global coordinate system presumes an increasing need of using GPS real-time determinations, both for tracing and for measuring.
