Applied Informatics
The course is aimed to cultivate in students skills for usage of MS Office program package. Text processing (MS Word) – text formatting, graphic objects, tables, etc. Spreadsheets (MS Excel) – computations through tables, use of functions, graphic visualization of results, etc. Large data volumes processing (MS Access) – structuring and organization of data, links between tables, creation of application forms, requests and reports. Presentation of results (MS Power Point) – techniques ...
Computer - Aided Engineering
The discipline “Computer-aided engineering” includes the following main topics: basics of computer graphics and geometrical modelling (theory, perspectives, visualization, transformations, 2D and 2. 5D computer graphics), computer graphics with AutoCAD (drawing commands, editing, visualization, layers, blocks, dimensions, etc. ), work with database management systems (design rules, types, usage). An introduction to the theory of relational databases is presented. Students are working with ...
Computer - Aided Engineering
Major:
The discipline includes topics connected with principles of computer graphics and geometrical modelling (theory, perspectives, transformations, 2D and 2. 5D and 3D computer graphics), realized with program system AutoCAD. The students receive skills on working with AutoCAD and data transfer between it and other program systems and MS Office package applications (Excel, Access etc).

She includes implementation of databases and principles of their creating. Students receive skills on working with AutoCAD and MS Access and data transfer between them.
Computer Systems in Civil Engineering
The discipline introduce students into basic program systems for computer-aided design and construction, main principles of their building and operating. Students receive skills in working with SAP 2000, STADYPS and their implementation for data transfer between them and AutoCAD, Excel and other program systems and products used in structural engineering and design practice.
Computer Systems in Structural Design
Basic principles of design, development and operation of computerized systems. Illustration of methodological provision with the help of the finite elements method. Basic skills for using SAP2000 are acquired.
Information Technologies
This subject acquaints students with various computer programs applicable in solving problems specific for each particular degree program. The main concepts of informatics are considered and skills are acquired for computerized text processing, spreadsheets, large data files (data bases) processing, presentations. An attitude is developed towards the modern technologies for information storage, presentation and processing.
Programming and Application of Computer Systems
The syllabus of discipline "Programming and application of computer systems" includes the main concepts of informatics, computer hardware and software, principles for design and types of operational systems (Windows), work with interpreter, compilers and linkage editors. The main aspects of programming with MS Visual C++ are considered: variables and types of data, arithmetical, logical and relational operations, main operators, functions, objects, classes, input-output operators, etc.
Programming and Application of Computer Systems
