The aim of the course is to give students certain knowledge on the regional economic policy, essence, subject and tasks of the regional economy. Some methods used in the regional economy are scrutinized – for management and planning of the regional economy; regional analysis; simulation; economic zoning. Methodological issues for development of regional comprehensive programmes are studied.
